Description: Quilt away your summer making a project from “Last Minute Patchwork and Quilted Gifts”. This book offers a wide range of projects including a simple quilt, pin cushion and puzzle ball. All make great gifts for adult and child. New and intermediate sewers welcome. You pick your project and the level of challenge you’re looking for. Book available at Stitch House, materials need to be purchased prior to first class.
Instructor: Annissa Essaibi George is the owner of Stitch House. She has been sewing since she was 6 years old – her first project was a Barbie skirt! Prior to opening Stitch House, Annissa had a small side business making formal girls’ wear and Christening gowns. Annissa made her own prom gown, wedding dress and all her bridesmaid dresses.

Specifics: Basic Quilting runs 4 Thursdays (July 10, 17, 24 &31) from 7-9pm. The class cost (not inclusive of materials) of $75 is due at time of registration. This class requires the participant to purchase the materials necessary to complete the projects. Fabrics should be washed and ironed prior to class. Additional fabric will need to be purchased for the second project and information will be given during class time.

All Classes: If you are registered for a class at Stitch House you’ll receive a 10% discount on your yarn purchases on the same day you register and during the class session.
Maximum class size is 6. Any class may be cancelled due to low enrollment. Refunds will only be made in this circumstance. Any class cancellations will be made at least 1 week before the start of the class. If an individual class session needs to be cancelled, each participant will be notified immediately. In a single session cancellation, the class will be held the week after the last scheduled class.
