We have 2 sewing classes starting this week. Tomorrow night Moo has an Intro to Sew starting. It will run 4 weeks from 6-8pm. We have 1 seat left! Then Moo’s trying something different for Saturday. We’re running a 2 week Intensive Intro to Sew.This class runs 2 Saturdays, June 6 and 13 from 10:30-2:30 and includes a light lunch. Get some sewing done for the summer! We have room in this class for you!
Katie is hosting a Beginning Sock Workshop THIS Saturday! She knows some people just love making socks - come find out why! In this one-day workshop, we’ll take you from start to finish to make squooshy, comfy, lounge-around-the-house socks. Participants will (hopefully!) finish the first sock during the workshop, and fast knitters will get started on the second one. The pattern takes you step-by-step through a ribbed sock from the cuff down, on double-pointed needles. For advanced beginners - some experience on DPNs is helpful. Saturday, June 6, 2-5pm, $30.
And then on Saturday, June 20, Jen is running a one-day Serger Workshop. Bring your own and leanr how to thread it and use the basic functions. 10-11:30am.
Kids Camp is taking reservations! Here’s the low-down: we’re running a camp each week this summer for kids ages 8-12. Join us for week of fun, crafting, sewing and knitting. Themes for each week will be announced as we get closer to summer. All camps run Tuesday through Friday and are either half days or full days. Discounts given for multiple weeks and children. Below is the schedule:
July 7-10 Full Day 10-3:30 $225 includes materials, snack and lunch
July 14-17 Half Day 10-12:30 $100 includes materials and snack
July 21-24 Full Day 10-3:30 $225 includes materials, snack and lunch
July 28-31 Full Day 10-3:30 $225 includes materials, snack and lunch
Aug 4-7 Half Day 10-12:30 $100 includes materials and snack
Aug 11-14 Full Day 10-3:30 $225 includes materials, snack and lunch

And last but not least, starting this weekend we will be closed on Sundays for the summer. Happy Dorchester Day! The weather looks good for Sunday so come watch the parade along Dorchester Ave.
