| Description: For new knitters or a brave beginner making a pair of socks is a great challenge and awesome skill once achieved! Join this class to get motivation to get through the twists and turns of a very cool knit sock. Using a circular needle and starting from the toe up – you’ll be on your way to a very cool pair of socks. |
| Instructor: Danielle MacIsaac taught herself how to knit 4 years ago and hasn't put down the needles since. She loves all kinds of knitting but socks are a favorite since her husband won't wear sweaters or scarves. She also loves the fact that they fit so much better and prefers to wear her hand-knit socks whenever possible. |
| Specifics: This class runs 4 consecutive Thursdays from 6 to 8 pm, starting throughout June, July and August. The cost of this class is $75. Participants should purchase the following for the first class: one 100 g skein of Colinette Jitterbug yarn of your color choice; one circular needle in size 3 (3.25 mm) either 24” or 29” in length. |
| All Classes: If you are registered for a class at Stitch House you’ll receive a 10% discount on your yarn purchases on the same day you register and during the class session. Any class may be cancelled due to low enrollment. Refunds will only be made in this circumstance. Any class cancellations will be made at least 1 week before the start of the class. If an individual class session needs to be cancelled, each participant will be notified immediately. In a single session cancellation, the class will be held the week after the last scheduled class. |
