Description: For moms and dads with kids in school and those who work the night shift – learn to knit during the day! This introductory level class will cover the basics of knitting, including the knit and purl stitches and casting on and binding off. Using Debbie Stoller’s Stitch-n-Bitch or Debbie Bliss’ Baby Knits for Beginners you will select and work towards completing a project of your choice.
Instructor: Eliza Mosurick picked up her knitting needles after college and was thrilled to discover that what Mom had taught her as a kid came right back. She worked at a yarn shop in NYC and loves helping others complete a project they can’t wait to show off. Recently she’s kept busy making gifts for friends with new babies (and one with a new puppy).

Specifics: Class meets 4 consecutive Thursdays or Fridays from 12-2pm. Sign-up is ongoing – just call! The class cost of $75, not inclusive of materials, is due at time of registration. Required project tools can be purchased during the first class session with the assistance of the instructor.

All Classes: If you are registered for a class at Stitch House you’ll receive a 10% discount on your yarn purchases on the same day you register and during the class session.
Maximum class size is 6. Any class may be cancelled due to low enrollment. Refunds will only be made in this circumstance. Any class cancellations will be made at least 1 week before the start of the class. If an individual class session needs to be cancelled, each participant will be notified immediately. In a single session cancellation, the class will be held the week after the last scheduled class.
