| Description: This is a great class for beginners and new knitters who want to create the perfect baby gift. Using Debbie Bliss’ Beginner Knits for Baby you will cover the basics with encouragement to try a cable to add some challenge for those who know how to knit and purl. Casting on, binding off, increasing, decreasing, knitting and purling will be covered in this class. |
| Instructor: Pam O’Leary has been knitting for over 20 years. She started knitting as a social event with her mom and friends and now gifts her friends and coworkers with beautiful, hand made scarves, sweaters, afghans and baby sets. In her bag you’re sure to find the latest and cutest knitting project! |
| Specifics: This class runs 4 Wednesdays (May 28 and June 4, 11, 18) from 6-8pm. The class cost of $75, not inclusive of materials, is due at time of registration. Required project tools can be purchased during the first class session with the assistance of the instructor. If you’d like to purchase your items before hand you’ll need “Baby Knits for Beginners” by Debbie Bliss. You’ll also need to purchase the yarn, needles and other materials for your selected project. |
| All Classes: If you are registered for a class at Stitch House you’ll receive a 10% discount on your yarn purchases on the same day you register and during the class session. |
| Maximum class size is 6. Any class may be cancelled due to low enrollment. Refunds will only be made in this circumstance. Any class cancellations will be made at least 1 week before the start of the class. If an individual class session needs to be cancelled, each participant will be notified immediately. In a single session cancellation, the class will be held the week after the last scheduled class. |
